About
The Democracy and Political Violence Collaborative convenes researchers who study democracy and political violence, across disciplines, subfields, career stages, and approaches. We hold a mini-conference every year at MPSA, host similar events at APSA and EPSS, and organize specific workshops and meetings. Beyond the paper sessions, our events are built to cultivate an enduring community of researchers, with dedicated time to connect, exchange ideas, and lay the groundwork for future collaboration.
Our first conference was a pre-conference to APSA 2026 at Harvard University. Our next is an MPSA 2027 Mini-Conference.
